The InterWave Mug

Yesterday I got my InterWave mug in the mail. Yep. You heard right. An InterWave mug, and it is awesome. On Monday I kept thinking I needed something tangible to represent InterWave. I really don’t know why, but I guess it is just one of those humanly things we do for the things that we care about. Of course, now I have a favorite mug to pour coffee into each morning.

I ordered it from CafePress, and this is the first time I’ve actually gotten anything from them. I was really bummed because they don’t carry a black mug, and the logo looks so much better on dark backgrounds, but I am impressed by the quality of the print (I did look at several other places, and none had black either). It is kind of expensive ($15 for the small mug, not including shipping), so any mass ordering would be less than ideal. But, now I’m curious to see how it looks on clothing.

What will really be interesting is what kind of merchandise we can make for Nuclear Dawn. Shirts, posters, mugs, mouse pads, etc. all with Nuclear Dawn artwork, very much like Valve has done with their games on the Valve Store.

Can’t wait!
